Falling Waters is a vintage mountain home that has been thoughtfully and beautifully renovated to include the best of yesterday with the modern necessities of today, and the best part is the front row seat to one of the most beautiful waterfalls of our area.
As you enter, you’re greeted with color and imaginative interior design that fits in with the home nestled in with large boulders and beautiful lush native rhododendron and mountain laurels. The paved-to-the-door main entrance has just a few steps and that level offers a large living area with wood burning fireplace, majestic wall of windows with access to the open deck and views of Satulah Falls, dining area, kitchen with great conversation nook with TV, Mst.Bedroom with King bed and large private bathroom and TV, guest BR with Queen Bed and is next to a full bath with walk-in shower. One step down into the sunroom with large TV and comfortable seating which opens onto the back patio with seating. There is also a half bath and wet bar area between the sunroom and kitchen/sitting area.
This home has great flow for gatherings!
The lower level has its own paved access and offers a lower patio with fire pit, living area with large TV, kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms (one has 2 twins and private bath, the other has a Queen bed and private bath.)
The interior stairway from the upper to the lower level is partially open from the main level living area and lands in the lower level library/study.
This home has attention to detail, and you will want to stay on, and on, and on. If you’re a reader, there are many, many places to escape with a good book. Sit by the huge stone fireplace and enjoy a crackling fire, or turn your head slightly to see the beautful waterfalls. Wood floors underneath your feet, a vaulted ceiling, and the natural light filtering in through the window lets you know you’re in an exclusive, extraordinary mountain home.
Pets may be allowed- ask the rental agent for the details
The waterfalls are REAL and just a short walk from the home if you wanted a closer look, but remember, like ALL of our waterfalls, use caution and common sense. You’ll want to take lots and lots of pictures to share with your friends and family, because the NEXT time you come, they’ll want to be with you.

Amazing waterfall view
Wow! The waterfall outside of this home puts Bridal Veil Falls to shame. The home is so spacious and comfortable. It is the perfect Highlands get away.
What a beautiful place! Gorgeous waterfall right next to the house. The decor was perfect. Comfy and plenty of room for gathering together, but also many separate rooms for time apart if wanted. Would definitely book again. Just 2 miles to Highlands. We had snow in April!!! Summer would be an incredible time to stay with windows open and the waterfall roaring!
Beautiful Home with Amazing Waterfall View!
We visited Falling Waters with friends for the 2018 Highlands Food and Wine Festival. We had the best time both at the festival and just staying in the home. Walk out onto the deck for an incredible view of a waterfall that is within walking distance of the home. Close to town and shopping as well!
