This home is a WOW house, and the location is just one part of the equation. As soon as you step into the foyer, you’re drawn to the magnificent mountain view; a view that can be seen from every room. Imagine yourself in this mountain house, then call on us to help make it happen.

Venture left into the east wing to a cozy sitting area with wood burning fireplace, adjoined by an ensuite with a King bed. On the upper level is a bedroom with two Queen beds and a private bath. This wing also offers a laundry room.

The main entry has a wall of large windows to take in the view and offers another sitting area as well as easy access to the dining area and top-notch Chefs kitchen. The oversized granite island is a great gathering area for all. There’s a butler’s pantry to help with entertaining needs, conveniently located between the kitchen and living area. The living room has a huge flat-screen TV above the mantle and the wood-burning fireplace. There’s a large, leather sectional sofa that makes the room THE place to be for your favorite sports game or family movie night.  There’s a half bath nearby, and a second Mst. ensuite with King bed.  The west wing has a lower level with two bedrooms with one shared bath in between. One bedroom has a Queen bed and the other has two 3/4 size beds (in between a twin/double size) There’s also another laundry room on this level.

The decks can be accessed from several places and offer a dining area and grilling area. This home has central air conditioning and heat, internet and cable TV. There are more than one TV and a one-car garage. Two laundry areas, updated spa-like bathrooms, and privacy help make this home special.

Moon Mountain is about 3 miles from Main Street, Highlands. It’s a one road subdivision with paved access off of Glen Falls Road, which is a dirt and gravel road.  The trailhead to Glen Falls and Chinquapin Trail isn’t very far from the entrance to Moon Mountain, and they’ll become two of your favorite places to hike and experience the cool mountain air this elevation is famous for. If you’re really a hiker, you could start from your front door, but be warned, Moon Mountain Road is curvy for a reason, the ascent back up from Glen Falls Road would be a bold move.

Moonstruck is a special place for discerning folks who like extra nice accommodations. Even though you can sleep up to 14 people (with 2 per bed), there are many couples that enjoy having a place like this all to their own, or with another couple and having two large ensuite bedrooms on the main level make it easy to indulge this wish. This home is one of the few at the end of Moon Mountain and located in a cul-de-sac, and is very private.

Sorry, pets are not allowed at this time at this location.

While on your excursions in this area, you’re liable to see bears, raccoons, and maybe a fox or two, and the bird watching is phenomenal.

Moonstruck is a great escape and its ready for you to enjoy all it has to offer. Go ahead – you deserve this! Picture yourself sitting right there looking out at that view. A good book in hand, a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, good friends, or family, it’s all better at Moonstruck.

Minimum stay: 3 nights for most stays HOLIDAY WEEKS ARE A ONE WEEK MINIMUM. Whether or not you can stay 7 nights, the charge is for 7 nights for holiday weeks of  Easter/Spring break, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas

Amenities List: Wood burning fireplaces*, Cable TV, nearby hiking trails, A/C, decks, mountain views (MILES of them), one-car garage, Recently updated with everything you need!

Fireplaces- You can order firewood from Chambers Realty & Vacation Rentals to be delivered to your unit. For pricing, call our office. You can also purchase by the bundle at the grocery store/ convenience stores in the Highlands, or bring your own. The owner’s wood isn’t to be used.

Cleaning Fee: $300.00

Stay 14-20 nights and get a 20% discount off the nightly rate AND have one exit cleaning included.
