Moss Hill Cottage
Moss Hill Cottage is mountain elegance all wrapped up in this two bedroom, two bath cottage located on a quiet little lane a little over 3 miles from Main Street Highlands. All on one easy level, you will find a covered entry porch which spans the length of the home and offers comfortable seating looking out into a tall pine forest. Everything has been remodeled and updated for the 2016 season. Kitchen is partially open to the dining and living areas. Dining area seats 6 comfortably. The living area has a stone-faced fireplace with easy gas logs, flat screen TV and access to the covered porch. The Mst. BR has a king bed, TV and offers a separate reading/office area between the sleeping area and the Mst bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and shares the hallway bath.
A small backyard area is where you will find the charcoal grill and fire pit and a couple of chairs to relax. (The back yard area is accessible from the parking area or from the kitchen area). The laundry closet is located beside the dining area.
Pets MAY be allowed, but only at owner’s discretion and with a $150.00 non refundable pet fee. NO smoking inside.
If you’re looking for a nice weekend getaway, or a place to spend a month or two- consider Moss Hill Cottage. If you have family that you would like to have NEAR you, but not WITH you- we have another rental in the neighborhood.

Great little cabin
Great little cabin – convenient to town, quiet location and great cabin in the woods feel. Updated interior, but still has that old cabin feel. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a great stay at this well kept cottage. We just wanted to beat the heat and the weather was just what we needed. The cottage is a short drive to town and has a good porch which is where we spent most of our time. We would stay here again.

Lovely Highlands Cottage

Moss Cabin was a great place to stay! The beds are comfy (1 king, 1 queen), two full bathrooms (tub+shower) with great water pressure, A/C, fireplace, living room with couch and 2 chairs, huge dining room table, large brand new porch, and a kitchen with pots/pans/etc. The cabin itself is older, but the kitchen and bathrooms are updated and it is well cared for. The cabin is located ~5-10min drive from town, very close to the skyline lodge. There is wireless internet which worked great (password at the cabin), and we were happy to find that we had great cell phone service throughout the cabin (AT&T).
