Creekside at Glen Falls, a farmhouse-style two-story home, is situated in a quiet, sunny meadow with a small stream bordering the Nantahala National Forest.



The main level features an open floor plan with an eat in kitchen, additional dining area next to a small living area with gas log fireplace. There is a separate den with a second gas log fireplace, flat screen TV, and daybed for reading, napping and watching TV. There is a covered wraparound porch with comfortable seating as well as an outdoor dining table and charcoal grill.



The second level includes two bedrooms; each with a private bath and walk in shower. The Master BR has a King bed and a gas log fireplace. The guest bedroom has a Queen bed. This level also includes a laundry closet and a large wood deck on the back side of the house. Virtually NO traffic noise



Dark skies make this property perfect for star gazing



Bird lovers will enjoy the many different avian visitors



Pets are allowed with a non refundable pet fee of $150.00 (pet policy will be attached to your lease)



NO smoking inside this home

This home is perfect for the nature lover! Children are welcome, but parents are cautioned regarding the stream- very shallow for the most part, but there is a deeper portion next to the parking area.



This home has a three- night minimum, except for HOLIDAYS AND SOME LOCAL EVENTS.

The rental app you are using may allow you to make two or three-night rentals during these times, but that doesn't mean the reservation will be honored.



******IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RESERVATION******



When you book your reservation through VRBO/Homeaway, the Property Manager handling this property will be notified by VRBO/Homeaway that a reservation has been made.

You will be asked to enter your credit card information, but you will not be charged for your reservation at this time. You WILL be charged a nominal service fee by VRBO/Homeaway. The fee is between you and VRBO/Homeaway; the property manager has nothing to do with the fee.

After the property manager has been notified of your reservation, you can rest assured this property is being held for you. You are booked.

The property manager will email you a lease. The lease will need to be reviewed, signed and returned to the property manager. If you haven’t received a lease within 72 hours it could be because the property manager/rental office is closed. (Operating hours are Mon-Fri 10-4) OR you may need to check your SPAM folder. Your lease will have options- usually the price you pay will be less than what is shown because all the options are listed.

The property manager/rental office for this property is a small-town business and we’ve been renting properties for over 30 years. We use VRBO/Homeaway for rental leads/reservations. A portion of your rental proceeds goes to VRBO/Homeaway for their service.

Week in the NC mountains

A good week . The opportunity to see our daughter and some of our grandchildren. The layout of the house and the large front porch provided good gathering spots for our family to visit.

Highlands Weekend

The staff was prompt and friendly with rental info and agreement. The home was nice and cozy and close to town. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend. The only negative was an issue with the gas (gas logs,stove and heat) and there were no CO2 detectors in the home. Hopefully, that was corrected.

Very nice home in beautiful setting

Very nice home in a beautiful setting. House was clean & as described. Our only issue was both bathrooms are upstairs so just be aware of that when you rent—there is no downstairs bathroom.
