COVID19 UPDATE for Highlands, NC

This mayoral proclamation signed yesterday, March 23, 2020, is effective immediately, and affects EVERY short-term rental.

Our office imposed a short-term rental ban through April, but this obviously takes precedence.

As stated in previous posts, any reservation being canceled due to the CoronaVirus will be fully refunded.

” All hotels, motels and rentals are ordered to be closed to the public, and shall become effective immediately and will remain in effect until the modification of the proclamation is modified, or rescinded. Existing, continuously occupied rentals are excluded.” Read more at PlateauDailyNews.com
